In December 2018 I had my first encounter with linen knitting, this is one of the draping experiments from my very first phase of getting to know the material. I made the knit with an old orion hand knitting machine from the 50s, nm 26 linen yarn and nm 18 wool. In addition, I needle felted short flax fibres onto the design to give it it’s shape. The top never made it to a prototype as I decided to focus on clothes that I would be able to wear in daily life.
